Creating a more

vibrant and thriving Kent

Kent Community Development Collaborative (KCDC) focuses on equitable community development so that everyone can participate in and benefit from decisions that shape their neighborhood and the greater community. Our main focus is on supporting communities of color, immigrants, refugees and low-income residents and developing our ability to advocate for, demand, and be a part of the change we wish to see in Kent.

Our long-term goal is to build our collective voice and organize our collective power for change. We remain culture-specific to ensure our people understand the impact of policies upon their lives and community’s future. Engagement at this level leads to action for the common good while also increasing representation, equity, and social capital.

Our Partners are committed to working together as a diverse body that represents the reality of Kent.
